It’s one of those bittersweet years: I missed my own blogiversary because life got very busy—happily busy, as I’m expecting a new little person any day. Mid-April marked five years of this site, and I’d hoped to celebrate with a big giveaway to thank everyone who has made this virtual home feel so warm over the last half decade.
A little late is better than never. Today also happens to be exactly one week before The Wellness Project book hits shelves, and I’ve gathered a collection of my favorite wellness items from the year to share. Below I’ve listed products that genuinely made a difference in my routines, many of which are mentioned by name in the book. I’ll explain why they mattered to me and how I use them.
I’m selecting 50 winners for this giveaway. Each winner will receive one of the items below. The odds are good—so go ahead and enter! To participate, send your pre-order receipt for The Wellness Project to [email protected]. You’ll also receive the free e-calendar. If you have a particular prize you prefer, you can request it in your entry; I’ll try to accommodate requests, though quantities vary (yes, there are only two Squatty Potties available!).
Retailers where you can pre-order the book are listed in the entry instructions below.
I’ll pick winners at 8pm EST on May 15th. Let the countdown begin!
Xoxo

The Squatty Potty
If you haven’t tried the Squatty Potty, it’s a simple but effective stool that re-creates a natural squatting position while using a modern toilet. By raising the knees, it helps align the colon for easier, more complete elimination. I discovered mine during a month focused on digestion and can’t imagine going back to the old way.
Wedderspoon Honey
After eliminating refined sugar for 30 days as part of my wellness experiments, I kept using raw honey as an occasional sweetener. Raw and medicinal-grade Manuka honey can be anti-inflammatory and soothing; I use it in cooled tea, overnight oats, and chia pudding. I keep a few jars on hand for those moments when a natural touch of sweetness makes a difference.
Follain Beauty Gift Card
Transitioning to natural beauty products became far easier thanks to boutiques like Follain that curate clean skincare and cosmetics. They make shopping approachable with in-store help and online quizzes that point you to products suited to your skin. I’m excited to join their Beacon Hill store for the Boston launch of The Wellness Project, and I recommend starting your clean-beauty journey there if you can.
Big Spoon Roasters Ginger Almond Butter
My Better Breakfast Starter Guide emphasizes fiber-forward breakfasts with low sugar. Adding nut butter and seeds to smoothies and bowls is an easy way to boost fiber and healthy fats. Big Spoon Roasters hand-roasts every small batch, and their almond-ginger flavor is a favorite I use in recipes from the Green Beauty chapter of the book.
Lovebug Probiotics
I recommend regular consumption of lacto-fermented foods for gut health, but high-quality probiotics can help during antibiotic courses or busy travel periods. LoveBug Probiotics were created by someone who rebuilt her health with targeted supplements; they’re thoughtfully formulated and among the best I’ve tried.
Bobble Infuse Water Bottle
Hydration was a major focus for me, and a portable water bottle made a huge difference. Bobble bottles let me infuse plain water with mint, ginger, or citrus, which keeps me drinking more throughout the day. Some models include a filter, which is an added benefit when I’m on the go.
My Flo App
Alisa Vitti’s work around cycle-aware living changed how I plan my meals, workouts, and social schedule. Her My Flo app builds on that approach, offering period tracking plus practical guidance for tailoring your lifestyle to your cycle phases. It’s a helpful tool for anyone wanting to align daily choices with hormonal rhythms.
Seventh Generation Home Cleaning Products
After switching to cleaner beauty products, the next step was swapping household cleaners. I rely on Seventh Generation for unscented, non-toxic options for counter cleaners, dishwasher soap, and laundry detergent. The giveaway includes a small bundle of their fragrance- and dye-free formulas.
LOLA Tampons (One Month Subscription)
From the Healthy Hedonist Tips in The Wellness Project: avoid exposing delicate tissues to unnecessary chemicals. Organic, chemical-free tampons reduce exposure and help maintain a healthy vaginal environment. LOLA’s organic cotton tampons and convenient subscription service make it easy to stay stocked without last-minute runs to the store.
Kishu Charcoal Sticks
These thin Japanese charcoal sticks are an eco-friendly way to filter water. Activated charcoal adsorbs impurities, and these reusable sticks last for months. When they’ve finished filtering water, they make an excellent odor absorber in the fridge or pantry, giving them a second life beyond the bottle.
